STIMS

STIMS 💉 live from my kitchen table👌🏼 I had my baseline yesterday. It didn’t go exactly as planned, I didn’t get the best news but we are moving forward.

There is another endometrioma on what remains of my left ovary. An endometrioma is a blood filled cyst caused by endometriosis. Dr. Miller removed most of my left ovary during my surgery this past September because it was so consumed by endo. I was shocked to see that another cyst has already formed.

There is NO cure for endo. It can and usually does come back, but we are hoping that this endometrioma is the worst of it and Dr. Miller is moving me forward so all we can do is try and pray. I’m not sure what we will do about the cyst in the future- another surgery? Monitor it? Let it be? I don’t know. All I know is my right ovary is healthy and has lots of follicles and all I’m going to do now is follow what Dr. Miller tells me and hope for the best.

I started my injections this morning. My protocol for now is 5 cc’s of Leuprolide, 150IU of Menopur (forgot how badly this stuff burns 🔥) and 150IU of Follistim which I will do tonight. I also continue all my supplements, dexamethasone and add in baby aspirin. In the next week I also add an antibiotic for Grant and myself to prepare for retrieval/sperm collection.

I looked up my records from my first retrieval from September 2018 and I stimmed for 10 days, so maybe this time will be around the same with retrieval around June 8-10ish🤷🏻‍♀️

In the meantime, tune into all my lovely shot content stories🩸🤪💉 on Instagram @ivf_to_babysenesac

I go back Monday morning bright and early for monitoring to see how my follicles are moving along, praying big 🙏🏼🤞🏻✨
